Pyrexian Portals

Light magic is being corrupted by darkness throughout the world by an unknown force. Warp to distant lands and vanquish the corruption. Destroy monster spawners and break sealing runes that lock the door to the Pyrexian overlord. 2nd-person shooter. 1-4 local coop.

This game is a prototype build. If there is enough traffic (downloads, comments, and/or Patreon visits) then I will continue to build the game. I switch up what game I work on at the start of every month to keep myself from experiencing burnout. 

Planned Content: 

I have 11 worlds planned, each with unique monsters and a boss fight at the end. I want to add 20+ guns and 20+ spells, music (I unfortunately have no music at this time) and just a lot more decor to the current worlds.

Known Setbacks: 

Multiplayer is slow with 3-4 players. This is due to the way the Game-Maker Engine parses code as it was intended to be a 2d game engine at heart. They are working on an update that releases in two years that's supposed to triple the run speed. Until then 1-2 players work well with my pc.
